We cultivate twelve hectares of vineyards which are located mostly around the walls of the seventeenth-century Villa de Claricini Dornpacher, in Bottenicco di Moimacco, and partly on the hills of Rubignacco (Cividale). The wine we produce is the result of a great deal of work in the vineyard aimed at bringing the plants to the conditions of nature. We are at the side of the vines so that they can defend themselves, finding in the soil everything they need to grow.
Over time, the vineyard will have a new appearance that will reflect the complexity of natural systems, a new aesthetic: the aesthetics of life. In an organic oasis of over 150 hectares we sow and cultivate our cereals and legumes. We entrust every single seed to the earth, which as a mother protects and nourishes it until harvest, then keeping a part of it for subsequent sowing.
The most important aspect of our work is to preserve the vitality of the soil and we do it in various ways: we work little; we always keep it covered with various species between one sowing and the next; we use extracts, infusions, and vegetable humus; we sow our fields and our vineyards with plants typical of natural environments, fundamental for the health of the soil. Our cereals and flours express, as happens for our wines, the identity of our land. Our every gesture of care, protection, and love translates into color and taste, you can feel it in our wines and in our food. The farm is part of the de Claricini Dornpacher Foundation complex.
